Members from the General Crime Section arrested a 44-year-old male today in relation to the assault that occurred in Ludmilla on Monday 25 July.

It is alleged that the incident occurred at around 5:30pm when a 14-year-old girl was approached by a male on a bus.

The girl left the bus however was followed by the man.

The offender was located in Parap this afternoon and is currently in Police Custody assisting with enquiries.
