Leanyer House Fire Investigation - Call for Public Assistance

Police are continuing to conduct enquiries in relation to the Leanyer house fire which claimed the life of Frank Scannella on the 20th of January.

As a result of continuing investigations police are now calling for public assistance to identify the owner of a black 8GB Ipod. The Ipod was located on the night of the incident, in the vicinity of Curlew Circuit in Wulagi and police believe it may have been stolen by juveniles who had been in Leanyer that night.

The Ipod has been programmed with the name of "Dawn's Ipod".

Police are calling for the owner of the device or anyone who may be able to assist police to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
