Karen Kelly Disappearance

Police

Monday the 18th of April marks 12 months since Territorian Karen Margaret Kelly disappeared from Darwin's rural area.

The wife and mother was last seen driving her green Toyota Corolla Seca, Northern Territory Registration No. 700 in the Darwin River area; and has not been heard from or seen since.

Mrs Kelly's car has also not been recovered.

Intensive police investigations have so far failed to determine her whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

"We're hoping the one year anniversary will jog someone's memory and provide us with that vital piece of information that will help solve this mystery". Said Det Sgt Sonia Kennon.

"The colour of the car and the number plate were quite unique and Police hope that people would remember them if they saw them".

"People and vehicles don't just vanish without a trace, someone somewhere must know something, and we urge them to contact police to help provide some answers to Mrs Kelly's family."

Any one with any information is encouraged to contact Crimestoppers on 1800333000 or 131444.
