Police are calling for public assistance after the alleged indecent assault of a young girl in her home overnight. At approximately 2:00am this morning a 15-year-old girl woke to an unknown male climbing on top of her in her bed and attempting to pull down her doona and remove her pyjama bottoms. The young girl screamed out in a loud voice and pushed her assailant off, forcing him out of her room into the hallway and forcibly pushed him through to the kitchen, where he then fled out the laundry door. The offender is described as being: Of aboriginal appearance 13 - 20 years old Skinny build 170 cm tall Wearing only pants, no shirt

Police are urging any one who may be able to identify the alleged offender or who may have further information in relation to the incident to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
