Police are calling on assistance from the public following two incidents that occurred yesterday morning in the Malak area.

A 12-year-old girl was walking in the park between Sanderson Middle School and Malak Primary School around 7:35 am when she was approached by a male who exposed himself.

She ran from the area and it was subsequently reported to Police a short time later.

Between 7:45 and 8:15 am a 15-year-old girl was approached by a male in the park on Mueller Road and again exposed himself.

The offender is described to be of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 30 years of age with a thin build and short black hair.

At the time of the incidents he was wearing 3/4 length denim jeans, a long sleeve black zip-up shirt and a Western Bulldogs hat.

He also had a black back pack and was not wearing shoes.


Police urge anyone that may have witnessed either of these events, or who may recognise this man, to contact them on 131 444.
