Graduation - Accelerated Recruitment Program Squad 111/2011

Police



The ARP Squad 111 have successfully completed 10 weeks of intensive training - consisting of legislation, policy and procedure lectures and assessments, including skills training.

The ARP is designed to encourage experienced constables from other states and territories to join the NTPFES in order to bring a broad base of skills and experience to the Territory.

The officers have also completed studies in the areas of; working in the NTPFES, IT systems, police safety and practice, investigation procedures, intelligence and information, traffic enforcement, drug and property offences, welfare in the community, domestic and family violence.

The 11 members are made up of 10 males and one female from Police Forces within Victoria (3), Western Australia (3), South Australia (1), Queensland (1), Tasmania (1) and the Australian Federal Police (2). The graduates will take up duties across the Northern Territory, heading to Darwin (2), Katherine (4), Tennant Creek (1) and Alice Springs (4).
