A 19-year-old man has been charged in relation a fatal crash in Moulden early yesterday morning.

Initial investigations indicate the man lost control of the vehicle when negotiating a bend on Temple Terrace.

It appears the vehicle then hit two light poles, struck a tree and rolled.

Major Crash Investigation Unit are continuing investigations.

The man has been charged in relation to the following offences:

Drive motor vehicle cause harm or death
Drive motor vehicle cause harm or death
Recklessly endangering life
Drive at a speed and in manner dangerous
Driver Drive under influence of alcohol
Drive a motor vehicle while unlicensed

He has been remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on Monday 18 April.
