Police received a report of a crash involving a Holden Commodore at approximately 2:15 am on Temple Terrace.

Initial investigations indicate the vehicle rolled a number of times and that speed may be a contributing factor.

Fire and Rescue members attended the scene to extract persons from the vehicles.

A 14-year-old boy has died has a result as a crash. The four remaining passengers and driver have been taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital by St John Ambulance.

Temple Terrace between Baldwin Drive and Tamarind Road will remain closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic until further notice while investigations are continuing.
