A 31-year-old male was arrested yesterday in relation to drug and firearm offences.

A search warrant was executed on his residence in Palmerston, locating five unsecured firearms, ammunition and a quantity of cannabis, methamphetamine and anabolic steroids.

He has since been charged with:

Possess testosterone (trafficable quantity)
Possess methamphetamine
Possess cannabis
Fail to meet storage requirements (5x firearms)
Fail to meet storage requirements (large quantity of ammunition).

He was granted bail and is to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 29 March.
