Criminal Damage - Darwin City Mall

Darwin City Police are calling for public assistance after an act of vandalism in the CBD over the weekend.

Officers are eager to identify two males who are believed to have damaged an information LCD screen, at the Bennet Street end of the Darwin City Mall, in the early hours of Sunday.

The two offenders are shown on CCTV walking through the mall at 2:00am, before approaching the screen. One male is depicted filming the act on his phone, while the other is believed to be vandalising the Darwin City Council property.

Police are calling for anyone who witnessed the incident or can identify the offenders, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Media - CCTV Footage of the incident is available to be picked up from NAB House before 5:00pm today.
