Assault - Ludmilla

Police

Members from the General Crime Section are investigating an assault in Ludmilla that occurred yesterday afternoon.

It is alleged that the incident occurred at around 5:30 pm when a 14-year-old girl was approached by an unknown male on a bus in Ludmilla.

The girl left the bus and the male followed.

It is believed that whilst walking along Bagot Road the male spoke with the girl before putting his arm around her and leaving the scene.

A male driving what is believed to be a Commodore utility stopped and witnessed the incident and Police urge him to come forward.

The alleged offender is described as a male of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 40-years-old, short black hair and at the time of the incident was wearing denim knee length shorts and a light coloured shirt with ‘Gold Fever’ written on the front.

Police urge anyone that may have witnessed the incident or who may recognise this man, to contact them on 131 444.
