Arrest for rock-throwing at taxi – Alice Springs

Police

On December 16 police received a complaint from a 43-year-old taxi driver that a man had thrown rocks at his taxi in Gap Road. The rocks smashed two windows and dented panel work. Investigations led to the arrest of the alleged offender at an Alice Springs town camp on Friday.
Police found the man hiding in a shower cubicle at a house in Little Sister Camp just before 6pm. He was arrested and charged with one count of endangering occupants of a vehicle. He has been bailed to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court on January 27.
