A man will face court for indecent dealings with a 10-year-old girl at a remote Central Australian community.

Members of the Southern Child Abuse Taskforce travelled to the community last week and arrested the 46-year-old man who is alleged to have indecently dealt with the child in December last year and January this year.

He has been charged with indecent dealings with a child under 16 and attempting to procure a child under 16 for sex.

He has been bailed to appear in court on April 4.
