Police from Major Crash Investigations have charged a 27-year-old male in relation to the death of a male at Coburg Peninsula last week.



Officers were called at approximately 7:00 am on the 14th of February with a report that a deceased male had been located on a dirt road.



Police from Oenpelli flew to the area and confirmed the report and Major Crash and Forensic Police later attended the scene and carried out their investigations.



It is alleged that the 51-year-old male victim was struck by the 27-year-old driving a Mazda B400 Tip Truck.



He has been charged with Drive a motor vehicle cause harm or death and bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 24 March



Due to its location it does not count toward the NT road toll
