Armed Robbery - Darwin

It is alleged that at approximately 11:38pm, two male offenders entered the service station wearing black balaclava type masks and approached the service station staff member.

The offenders entered behind the counter and demanded money from the till, one of the offenders then told the staff member that he had a gun.

The offenders stole an amount of cash, 3 x cartons of cigarettes, deodorant and a magazine before exiting the store and fleeing the area.

The male offenders are described as:

- Approximately 190 centimetres in height, large build, of Caucasian appearance, wearing a white t-shirt, knee length black shorts and dark coloured 'Nike' sandals with the distinctive 'Nike' emblem over the bridge of the foot. - Approximately 162 centimetres in height, thin build, of Caucasian appearance, wearing a white t-shirt and dark coloured board shorts with white bands around the legs and white draw strings.

Police believe that a four door sedan that was seen driving off from behind the service station at around the same time as the armed robbery may be involved. The car was last seen heading inbound on Winnellie Road.
