Members from the Youth Crime Unit arrested two youths in relation to criminal damage offences yesterday.

It is alleged the youths attended the underground car park of Hastings on Mindil in the early hours of yesterday and smashed the window of a Toyota Kluger before fleeing the scene.

Police located boys aged 14 & 16 walking along Parap Road a short time later.

They were arrested and conveyed the Darwin Watch House where they were issued with formal warning in relation to trespassing.

The owner of the vehicle did not wish to make a formal complaint.
