Police are urging all motorists to secure their vehicles at all times following another vehicle fire early this morning.

The incident was reported to the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre shortly before 2:00 am.

Police and NT Fire and Rescue attended the location on the corner of King and Margaret St with fire fighters extinguishing the blaze within a short time.

It is unknown at this stage as to whether the circumstances surrounding the incident are suspicious, however anyone with information relating to the incident are urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
