NT Police are investigating two assaults on two off duty Police Officers during the same incident, not one officer as previously reported.

Two males have now been arrested in relation to this incident which occurred at approximately 3am this morning in a Katherine night club.

One of the male officers remains in a serious condition in Royal Darwin Hospital while the other officer received treatment for more minor injuries in Katherine.

Police continue to call on anyone who witnessed this incident or has any information to contact them on 131 444 or attend Katherine Police Station including those who rendered medical assistance at the scene.
