Northern Territory Police have arrested the female offender in relation to the armed hold up in Nightcliff this morning.

The two other females who fled in the vehicle are currently assisting Police with their enquiries.

NT Police continue to call for public assistance in relation to the other, unrelated incident which occurred yesterday in McDonalds, Casuarina involving a male offender armed with a 20cm long carving knife.

He is described as male, 170 cm tall, wearing a white, round neck t-shirt and blue, denim jeans.

He had a black t-shirt wrapped round his head exposing only his eyes and mouth. He also had a moustache.

The offender was described as having "very dark skin" and a limp.

He was last seen fleeing from McDonalds at approximately 8.30pm down Bradshaw Terrace towards the Casuarina Bus Interchange.

Police are asking anyone who may have any information in relation to this incident including having seen anyone in the area around 8.30pm matching this distinct description, to call them on 131 444.
