Update #1 - Robbery - Alice Springs

Police have today issued Comfits of two offenders who allegedly robbed a man at knifepoint in Alice Springs on Sunday.

The 20-year-old male victim told police he was walking home from the Casino over the Taffy Pick Crossing in Stephens Road just after 3am when he was approached by two males. One of the offenders produced what appeared to be a carving knife approximately 30cms in length and demanded the victim's wallet.

The man handed over an amount of cash and the two offenders fled. Both men are described as being of Aboriginal appearance and approximately 180cm tall.

The first offender was of medium build, dark skinned, clean shaven with very short dark hair. He was wearing a black sweater and long pants. He was also wearing distinctive diamond-shaped stud earrings in both ears.

The second offender was of a heavier build and also dark-skinned and clean shaven. He was wearing a red "hoodie" and camouflage coloured cargo pants.
