Trespass and Stealing - Grey

Palmerston Police arrested a 27-year-old man in relation to a trespass and stealing incident over night.

At about 2:30 am this morning police apprehended the man after he unlawfully entered a property in Grey.

It is alleged the man entered the yard and filled a wheelie bin with assorted liquor including beer, wine and spirits, from an outdoor fridge before fleeing down the road.

The occupant of the residence called police and provided members with a description of the offender. He was located near by a short time later still in the possession of the stolen property.

The man is expected to be charged with the following:
Trespass on enclosed premises
Stealing
