Three Vehicle Crash - Stuart Highway

Police

Police and the Fire and Rescue Service were called to a vehicle crash on the Stuart Highway near BP Palms at about 3:30 today.

It is believed a bus collided with a semi trailer with one dog and in turn a second semi trailer collided with the back of the bus.

30 people are believed to have received injuries as a result of the crash.

St John Ambulance is in attendance at the scene

Bus received extensive damage; it is believed to have been alight for a short period of time and was extinguished by the Fire Service on arrival.

The outbound lanes of the Stuart Highway are currently closed and will continue to be for sometime. Traffic is currently being diverted from the scene at the Stuart Highway and McMillans Road intersection.
