Suspicious male – Karama - 4589142

Police have today released a Comfit of a suspicious male who approached a 16-year-old girl in Karama as she was walking to school yesterday.

The girl told police she was walking along Applegum Drive around 7am yesterday when she was approached by a man driving a white Ford Falcon station wagon. The victim told police the man stopped his car and asked her where she was going and then offered her money if she would get into the vehicle. The girl refused and the man drove off after seeing a man in his front yard at a nearby house.

The offender is described as being a dark-skinned male in his 20s, with black eyes and short black hair. He was wearing a grey jumper and white knee-length shorts with black pockets.

Police door-knocked the area yesterday and are appealing to members of the public who may have seen a man fitting the description driving a white station wagon.
