Alice Springs Police have charged a 22-year-old man with the murder of a 21-year-old male in Alice Springs last night.
At about 4.30 am on Sunday, Alice Springs Police were called to the intersection of Lovegrove Drive and Elder Street, Araluen by a member of the public in relation to a collapsed male. Upon arrival police located the man laying on the road with wounds to his chest; he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 22-year-old male appeared in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court today and has been remanded in custody and is due to appear on 6 December.
