The blaze which was reported to authorities at about 2:20 pm is believed to be in a derelict demountable at the back of the former Pheonix Hotel on Progress Drive.

Fire Fighters are currently attempting to extinguish the blaze and Fire Investigators will attend shortly to determine the cause of the fire.

There have been no reported injuries as a result of the fire.
