Stolen Property Recovered - Darwin

Police

Darwin Police have arrested a man over the weekend in relation to a large quantity of stolen property pawned at a second hand store in Parap.

The 31-year-old was arrested at approximately midday on Saturday 09 October following Police locating and seizing the stolen items from the second hand store.

The stolen items, consisting mainly of laptops and games consoles, have been linked to four separate unlawful entries.

The items recovered are valued at approximately $15,000. They were pawned by the offender between 21 September 2010 and 7 October 2010.

The man was charged with the following offences:
Criminal deception x 5
Unlawful possession of property x 4

The offender was bailed and will appear in a Darwin Court on 01 November 2010.
