It is alleged the tourist owners parked the 1988 Mitsubishi Pajero in the car park at Florence falls at approximately 5:30 pm.

Upon returning at 7:00 pm, the tourists discovered the vehicle and all their personal belongings had been stolen. It appears the vehicle may have been hot wired.
The vehicle is described as being a dark blue colour with the Australian flag painted on the bonnet.
"The tourists are travelling around Australia and the vehicle is their not only their transport but their accommodation also" Sergeant Paul Maccioni said.
"All they have are the clothes on their back, they have lost everything.
"The vehicle is quite noticeable with the Australian flag on the front and we urge anyone that sites the vehicle to contact police" he said.
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area or has information in relation to the theft is urged to call Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
