The 44-year-old woman got out of her car and began walking up the stairs to the shop when an unknown male walked down the steps and grabbed her bag. The offender then ran across the road to the adjacent park where he fled the scene with three other males on trial motor bikes.

The offender is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 14 - 16 years old, 165cms tall, medium build, short black hair and was wearing a hooded jacket with black and brown diamond shapes on it and pants.

The motor bikes the group of youths fled on are described being both blue and white in colour and one was a regular motor bike and one was smaller.

Witnesses last saw the group riding along Tymm court heading towards Vanderlin drive.

The distinctive looking stolen hand bag is described as being billabong branded and black in colour with suede type material and covered in tassels. Police urge members of the public to contact police if found.
