Stabbing - Ludmilla

NT Police have arrested a 44-year-old woman after she allegedly stabbed at man in Ludmilla last night.

The woman is believed to have been involved in a verbal altercation with a male at the front of a Daniel Street home at around 10:00pm just prior to the assault.

After arguing with the man the offender is alleged to have taken a steak knife from the house and stabbed the man in the right shoulder before fleeing the scene.

Saint John Ambulance attended and conveyed the man to Royal Darwin hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The woman was arrested a short time later and conveyed to Darwin Watch House where she remains in police custody.
