Following information received, police went to the Braitling home late yesterday afternoon and during the search located a vehicle matching the description of the four-wheel-drive used in a shooting near the Junction Waterhole north of Alice Springs at the weekend.

Police seized a number of firearms including a single barrel shotgun and a quantity of ammunition.

The man has been arrested and will be interviewed by detectives later today.

Investigations are continuing.
