The female was in her drive way late at night when she was allegedly approached by a male for a glass of water, he also asked if she lived alone. As the woman went inside to get a glass of water the male tried to follow her inside but the woman had locked the door behind her. The male waited at the door for a short while and is believed to have returned about an hour later and knocked on the door but left shortly after.

On Friday 8 October, a 67-year-old woman was threatened with a knife and sexually assaulted after being approached by a man at her home on Lyndavale Drive. The man gained entry after asking for a glass of water.
