A 37-year-old woman has been charged with unlawfully causing serious harm after allegedly stabbing her husband in the eye following a domestic in Tennant Creek on Thursday night.
Tennant Creek police received a report just after 9pm on Thursday that a 38-year-old man had been injured during a domestic disturbance on Crown land off Paterson Street. The man was taken to Tennant Creek Hospital and was found to have a broken nose and serious damage to his left eye. He has been sent to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.
The woman has been bailed to appear in the Tennant Creek Magistrates Court on March 2.
