Tennant Creek police received a report just after 9pm last night that a 38-year-old man had been injured during a domestic disturbance on Crown Land off Paterson Street. The man was taken to Tennant Creek Hospital and was found to have a broken nose and serious damage to his left eye. He has been sent to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.
The man's wife is currently in police custody and is expected to be charged with unlawfully causing serious harm.
