Maningrida police and members of the Substance Abuse and Intelligence Desk and Dog Operations Unit seized cannabis with an approximate community street value of $57,200 yesterday after executing a drug search warrant at a Maningrida address. Members saw a plastic bag being thrown from the rear door of the premises on their arrival. The bag was found to contain 17 small clip seal bags of cannabis. In total, the search yielded 21 deal bags and a further quantity of loose and packaged cannabis. A 45-year-old woman has been summonsed for possession and supply of cannabis. Drug infringement notices were also issued to two males, aged 34 years and 39 years. Police seized $650 in cash.
