NT Fire and Rescue Service have decided to close a section of Dickward Drive between Totem Road and Fitzer Drive as a result of a fire in the Coconut Grove area.

Authorities urge motorists to take alternative routes and slow down in the area as smoke may limit vision on the road.

The cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed.

NT Police and the Fire and Rescue service will provide updates as details come to hand.
