NT Police are calling for public assistance after a series of ram raids in Darwin overnight.

Police allege that up to four businesses in the Moil, Wagaman, Palmerston and Humpty Doo areas were raided.

A White Toyota Hilux Utility has been seized by police and is believed to have been used to break into the various premises.

One youth remains in police custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the areas or who may have further information in relation to the incidents is urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
