NT Police have charged the 45 year-old Police Officer who was suspended from duty in August 2010. The investigation conducted by the Ethical and Professional Standards Command alleges $666.95 was spent for non official purposes. This investigation has now concluded and the Officer has been charged with 'Criminal Deception', 'False Claims by Officials." The Officer has been summonsed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate Court on 23 September 2010. The Officer remains suspended on full pay under section 80 of the Police Administration Act.
