Members from the Traffic Enforcement Unit and Major Crash Investigation Unit are currently investigating a crash involving a motor vehicle and a cyclist in Gray this morning.
Police received the report shortly before 7:00 am after a Toyota Landcruiser collided with a cyclist on Raffles Road.
The 31-year-old male cyclist was taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The 30-year-old male driver was uninjured and will be interviewed at a later stage.
Initial investigations indicate the cyclist was not wearing a helmet. There is no further information at this stage.
