It is believed Leanne Nelson, also known as Leanne/Nyumina Morrison, attended Royal Darwin Hospital on Sunday 03 January where she was being treated for a serious injury however she left the premises on Thursday 07 January and has not been seen since.

Police hold concerns for the welfare of the woman as she suffers from a number of health issues that require medical treatment.

She is described to be of Aboriginal appearance, large build, 170 cm's tall, curly grey hair and was last seen wearing a green shirt.

Police believe she may be in the Darwin, Palmerston or Katherine area and urge anyone that may have seen her, or know of her whereabouts, to contact police on 131 444.
