Alice Springs Police are conducting an air and ground search for a 25 year old man who was reported missing yesterday in the area of Undoolya Road and Emily Creek approximately 8kms east of Alice Springs.

The missing man was last seen at 7am on Thursday January 14, walking south on a track which leads to Emily Gap. An air search of the area yesterday afternoon failed to locate the missing person. Police are continuing the search this morning with a helicopter, motorcycles and vehicles.

The missing person is described as a Caucasian male, 25 years old, about 180cm tall and slim. He was wearing a grey polo shirt with dark blue sleeves, dark trousers, black baseball cap and was wearing a khaki rucksack.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen a person matching the description to come forward. Anyone with information should phone police on 131 444.
