NT Police are investigating an allegation that a 47-year-old male, off duty Police Officer who had been stopped by a police patrol before driving away as he was about to be requested to undertake a roadside breath test.

The officer was driving his own, private vehicle in a rural location at the time of the alleged offence on 5 February 2010.

No further details are available at this stage while this matter remains subject to further investigation.
