The woman told police she was walking home from work around 6am on Sunday when she was approached by a male who then indecently assaulted her. The incident occurred near the Tom Brown roundabout.

The alleged offender is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 165cm tall with a slim build and aged between 25 and 34. He had black hair with bleached patches and was wearing a green and white shirt and dark pants.

Police have today issued a Comfit of the alleged offender and are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the assault to come forward. Anyone with information should phone police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
