Students from O'Loughlin Catholic College will begin a 135km ride to Mandorah this morning in an effort to raise money for Autism in the Territory.

NT Police would like to remind drivers to slow down when approaching and passing the group which includes 55 riders and a convoy of teachers and parents.

The ride is expected to begin at 8:00am this morning and continue throughout the day along the Stuart Highway then onto Cox Peninsular Road through Berry Springs.

The fundraiser may cause some traffic delays and NT Police urge the public to stay patient and slow down.
