Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on the Stuart Highway approximately 23 Km's north of Stuarts Well.

At about 9:30 am this morning police received a report of a single vehicle rollover south of Alice Springs.

Police attended the scene and located a deceased male.

Police are still at the scene and investigations to determine the cause of the crash are continuing.

This now brings the NT road toll to three compared to two for the same period last year.
