Members of the Alice Springs Major Crash Investigation Section are currently on scene at a fatal pedestrian crash on the Ross Highway in the rural area of Alice Springs. Police received notification at 7.40pm that a male pedestrian was lying on the road and appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ross Highway will remain closed while investigations continue.
