A 32-year-old woman will appear in court after drugs worth more than $100,000 were found at her home in Alice Springs.

Members of the Substance Abuse Intelligence Desk, the Drug Inforcement Unit and the Dog Operations Unit executed a search warrant on the woman's Gillen home on Monday.

Police located five cryovac bags of cannabis weighing more than 2.2 kilograms. They also located six grams of methylamphetamine, $5000 cash and an unregistered 45.70 calibre lever action rifle and a quantity of ammunition. The estimated potential street value of the Cannabis is $111,350.00

The woman was arrested and charged with:

Supply a commercial quantity of Cannabis
Possess a commercial quantity of cannabis
Possess a Trafficable quantity of a Schedule 2 substance
Possess tainted property

She has been bailed to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court on August 26.

A 31-year-old man will also appear in court for possession of an unregistered firearm.

Superintendent Lance Godwin said the seizures were the result of excellent intelligence and co-operative police work between the various units whose job it is to target the illicit drug trade.

"Members of the Substance Abuse Intelligence Desk, The Drug Intelligence Unit and the Dog Operations Unit work very closely together to get these sorts of results and those dealing in illicit drugs need to be aware that we'll continue to target them," Supt Godwin said.

"That is why police are running a special two-day campaign this Friday and Saturday called Dob in a Druggie. We have a dedicated number - 1800 134 477 - which drug detectives will be on hand to answer between 7am and 11pm both days. We're hoping having the phone lines answered by local detectives will encourage people to ring in and give us information that will help keep drugs out of the communities. The phone lines aren't taped and they don't even have to give us their name if they don't want to."
