Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences at Numbulwar.

Local police, assisted by members from the Remote Community Drug Desk and the Darwin Dog Operations Unit, seized a total of 134 grams of cannabis with a street value in communities of approximately $13 400.

The men, aged 36 and 50, were arrested in Numbulwar last night after the execution of two search warrants.

The 36-year-old was charged with:

Possess a Schedule 2 Drug - trafficable quantity
Supply a dangerous drug in a community

He has been remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 28 July, 2010.

The 50-year-old man was charged with:

Possess a dangerous drug (cannabis)
Supply a dangerous drug in a community

He has been bailed to appear in Numbulwar Court on 18 August, 2010.
