An 80-year-old woman was issued with a drug infringement notice after police found Cannabis at her home during the execution of a search warrant on Saturday.

Members of the Drug Intelligence Unit, the Substance Abuse Intelligence Desk and the Dog Operations Unit executed the search warrant on the Head Street unit just after 7pm.

Police located a total of 50.7 grams of Cannabis plant material during the search. A 25-year-old man will be summonsed after claiming ownership of 38.6 grams of the material while the 80-year-old woman was issued the drug infringement notice for the remaining 12.1 grams.
