NT Police are interested in speaking with witnesses after a Victorian man died at Wangi Falls last week.

Bachelor Police received the report at about 4:00 pm last Wednesday, 1 September, after the man's wife noticed him floating face down in the water.

The woman and fellow tourists dragged him from the main pool and rendered first aid until and Bachelor Clinic Staff personnel arrived at the scene.

However, the 60-year-old man died at the scene.

At this stage his cause of death is unknown and police are calling for further witnesses to come forward.

Watch Commander Anthony Deutrom said NT Police are particularly interested in speaking with a man who was first on the scene and assisted in removing the deceased from the water.
