Crime Spree - Palmerston

Police

Northern Territory Police have arrested three youths, wanted in connection to a month-long crime spree.

Early last month it's alleged the trio damaged goods at the rear of Bunnings in Palmerston after setting fire to oil and glue poured over stock.

Three days later on the 6th of October, windows were smashed at the Subway Restaurant in Berrimah.

The crime spree escalated with 60-thousand dollars worth of damage caused to roadwork equipment at the Palmerston overpass on October the 19th.

Police allege the 11,12 and15-year-olds caused extensive damage to machinery before activating fire extinguishers and spraying graffiti on the overpass walls.

Police say two of the youths allegedly broke into two vehicles in the Palmerston suburb of Moulden on the 25th of October.

All three will be summonsed to appear in the Youth Justice Court.
